Featuring a balanced fine/medium grit type, these abrasive blocks for etching reliably machine complex filigree mold and die geometries. Their high corrosion resistance makes them ideal for wire EDM processing. In addition, they fully comply with the mechanical and physical requirements of mold making, for corroding, cutting punches and blocks of molds with maximum wear resistance; for punching, embossing, bending and forming moving parts. It can withstand multiple EDM operations. During the EDM process, these materials have superior properties of resistance to corrosion, pitting, and cracking, and are particularly suitable for processing complex components such as long punches and large mold parts.
